At Tooner Fish Studios, we're all about fun, family friendly entertainment.
At the age of 11 our founding director, Richard Stevens, sat in class with a pack of pencils, a note pad and a dream: to one day tell his stories through animations, illustrations and comic books. From there, Richard set on a quest to create the most fun filled stories he could dream of, leaning on his love for cartoons, movies, computer games and comic books.
After 30 years, Richard's dream has never diminished. He's worked hard to hone his passion for telling stories in the most engaging ways he can imagine, and is now ready to fulfil an 11 year old's dream: to share his stories with the world.
Through this, Richard hopes to inspire a new generation of storytellers.

Since graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Richard has worked on a variety of animation, illustration, design and multimedia projects. He's also hosted animation, illustration and comic book workshops tutoring both kids and adults.
Richard is based in Auckland, New Zealand.
